Getting back in Shape Again. Active Aging, I say!

This blog is as much about the derring do's of  Team  Epo, my erstwhile shennanigans  with Team Cyclospore and  Team ASG, as it is basically about Embracing Life and all that it offers, and Living it! The slant here of course is my predilection to taking part in marathons, duathlons, aquathlons and triathlons...ok ok - there's biathlons too and stand alone races for each discipline as well. Add on the odd sailing race or two and you get the idea of  a varied sporting lifestyle. yup - nothing beats actually getting out there and doing it...Living is believing , I say!!

As we work ourselves at the office, it's gainful to also work ourselves outside of office to stay active and go about enjoying what our bodies can do - and keeping the engines running as they say. In everything, as always, moderation is the key so it pays to listen well to one's body and do things which are beneficial in the long run (pun intended).

What works for some may not work for another, and different pple have different take always from their involvement in sports and activity. I have friends who run every marathon hey can, but they do well enough for now as that's what keeps them ticking. But I say that we should guard against overtraining or unduly putting our bodies through extended periods of 'abuse' and stress.
